Siam Old Teak is the preferred supplier of solid reclaimed teak furniture in Hua Hin. They have a small factory in the north of Thailand and control all aspects of their very successful business. Each piece of furniture is made individually, not mass produced and their Artisans are true wood craftsmen. They pride themselves on making each piece uniquely different and use many traditional woodworking hand tools to create and build their furniture. No machinery of any kind is used to make their furniture. Each piece is built using time honored carpentry techniques from tight fitting mortise and tenons to hand cut dovetails.

Ya explains ‘We control all aspects of our business. We source the old teak from ancient and neglected houses that have been selected for demolition. Many have been standing between 75 to 200 years. The main house frame construction and outer panels are made from teak, which is carefully recovered for the production of our furniture. Also from time to time we are privileged to recover a number of ancient carved panels, these are truly unique and are one of a kind finds We have a new show house opening soon that will house our ‘One-Offs & Ancients’. It will also be home to our extensive collection of antique Chinese furniture which has proved to be very successful in Bangkok.’
