This is an undoubted fact at the moment.
Projects large and small, budget homes
or top of the range residences are all
selling very well, often beyond the
expectations of the sellers. What is
driving this sales boom? Well, we
at Siam Property put it down to a
variety of reasons. Value for money
compared to Europe is a definite factor
and escaping from the rigors of a
European winter is another. Some
people in the UK especially have found
that whilst they were property rich,
they were cash poor. Many of those
have decided to cash in their property
asset and head for the sun and lifestyle
of Thailand. In our view, now is
definitely the time to buy. Prices
have risen sharply in the last 2 years
driven by an increasing demand and
rising land prices as Thai land owners
see the worth of their assets increase.
We focus on sales of new developments,
houses and condos. This allows our
clients to buy off-plan and therefore in
most cases decide on room dimensions,
choice of fixtures and fittings,
positioning on plots, choice of swimming
pool designs and sizes and generally
feel they are creating a home individual
to themselves. Buying off-plan
allows time to pay for their home to
their own payment schedule. Due to
price movements our clients are finding
that once their homes are ready to move
into or rent, the value of the homes has
already increased. Buying off plan
at the beginning of a development can
also provide discounts or incentives,
which we can advise on.
There is also a strong re-sale market as
clients continually step u the ladder of
market, these are bought by clients who
don’t wish to wait for a property to be
built. We will negotiate on behalf
of both Buyer and seller to reach a
mutually acceptable price and inclusions
of sale such as furniture. We are
also strong in providing a service for
property investors that are looking for
multiple properties to provide a rental
income and hopefully investment
